Our comprehensive range of products and services covers every link of the integrated supply chain – from maritime and inland terminals to marine services and industrial parks as well as technology-driven customer solutions.The Dispatcher coordinates the daily movement of freight, equipment, and drivers to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time transportation services. The Dispatcher serves as the primary communication hub between drivers, customers, maintenance providers, and operations leadership while maximizing fleet utilization, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional customer service.Location: Stockton, CAKey ResponsibilitiesDispatch drivers, tractors, and trailers based on customer requirements and equipment availabilityMonitor shipments from pickup through delivery and provide proactive customer updatesCoordinate permits, routing, and delivery requirements for heavy haul shipmentsMonitor driver Hours of Service (HOS) and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) complianceCoordinate preventative maintenance schedules and equipment repairs with maintenance providersTrack fleet availability and equipment utilization to maximize productivityMaintain dispatch records, shipment documentation, and operational reportsSupport yard operations, trailer staging, and equipment movementResolve operational issues, scheduling conflicts, and service disruptionsCommunicate effectively with drivers, customers, vendors, and operations leadershipQualifications, Experience and SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Associate's degree in Logistics, Transportation, or Business preferred2–3 years of dispatch, transportation, or logistics experienceHeavy Haul or specialized transportation experience preferredKnowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and ELD systemsExperience with transportation management software (TMS), GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft OfficeThis position does not offer sponsorship for employment visas. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.CompensationThe expected base pay for this role is between $46,000-$57,500. This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
