Security Lead / Cybersecurity Specialist

Summary

This job is with Encode, Inc a fully owned subsidiary of Lancesoft.

Role Purpose: Provide leadership in cyber threat monitoring, incident response, and compliance, ensuring adaptation to evolving threat landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee operations and alerting from SentinelOne (and similar security solutions).
• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and recovery procedures.
• Conduct regular vulnerability reviews and recommend mitigation steps.
• Educate client staff on security policies and best practices.
• Liaise with managed SOC provider for threat investigations.
• Document standards and ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., CA public sector).
Requirements:
• 3+ years of cybersecurity experience (endpoint, network, and cloud security).
• Hands-on SentinelOne or similar EDR/XDR solutions experience.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS).
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP) desirable.
