Location: San Diego, CAJob Id: 581# of Openings: 1Position OverviewD2 Government Solutions is seeking a MESF Learning Standards Support Subject Matter Expert (SME) aligned with Objective Area 1 to support the Force Generation Professional Support Services requirement for Maritime Expeditionary Security Group ONE (MESG ONE) .This position is contingent on contract award , focused on ensuring learning standards compliance, curriculum assessment, and training standardization for the MESG ONE N7 Department.Location & Work SchedulePrimary Work Location: MESG ONE, NOLF-IB, Imperial Beach, CATravel: CONUS and OCONUS travel may be requiredKey ResponsibilitiesSupport the Course Curriculum Model Manager in the areas of Patrol Boat Operations, Tactical Communications (ashore and afloat), and Expeditionary Security curriculumEvaluate and report MESF curriculum and Course of Instruction compliance with:OPNAVINST 1500.75 seriesNECCINST 1500.13 seriesNAVEDTRA M-142Other applicable higher-level directivesDevelop recommendations to improve and standardize:Training assessmentsQualification standardsCertification processes across MESG ONE unitsConduct research and analysis of technical documentation from:MESFNECC / NECCPACNFC / NECTFNAVSEAJoint service publicationsSupport recurring and ad hoc reporting requirements (monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual, and as needed) related to training and readinessMinimum QualificationsActive SECRET clearance (required at time of application)Minimum 15 years of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) experienceMinimum 15 years of experience in NETC-compliant course and curriculum developmentMinimum 3 years of recent MESF curriculum development experience (within the past 5 years)Bachelor's degree required ; Master's degree preferred (ideally in an education-related field)Strong analytical, research, and technical writing skillsExperience working with military training and readiness programs preferredFamiliarity with AI tools in government or civilian environments highly desiredSecurity RequirementsMust possess and maintain a DoD Secret security clearanceAbility to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)Must comply with all Navy security policies and complete required training (e.g., Navy e‑Learning)Employment ConditionsThis position is contingent upon contract award and subject to government approval of key personnel .
