Job Duties

You will plan and assign work to be accomplished by subordinates based on priorities and deadline selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.

You will direct structural firefighting duties for a variety of facilities that may include research and/or large industrial complexes.

You will direct combat of fire or rescue of personnel on board ships where conditions create very difficult and dangerous situations.

You will direct crash-rescue and firefighting duties involving air traffic or support operations where hazardous conditions are such that the expectancy for fire is high and potential for becoming destructive is great.

You will perform hazard and risk assessment techniques in completing initial incident analysis.

You will direct rescue of personnel and a variety of first aid measures to alleviate further injury and prepare the victim(s) for transport to a medical facility.
