IAC Security Guard
The mission of the IAC is to build an engaged and united Israeli-American community that strengthens our next generations, the American Jewish community and the State of Israel.
Position Overview: The IAC Security Guard's primary responsibility will be to secure and guard at the IAC Shepher Community Center. This is a 20 hours-per-week position, working in the afternoons and evenings. The IAC Security Guard will report to the IAC Shepher Community Center Sr. Manager.
Duties include and are not limited to:
- Monitor surveillance equipment during shift
- Conduct perimeter checks throughout the day
- Inspect building equipment and access points
- Permitting entry
- Restraining trespassers
- Controls traffic by directing drivers
- Completing visitor log paperwork
- Able to control situations in a stressed environment
- Professionally represent the IAC and provide excellent service
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Perform other duties as required and assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
- Prior related job experience
- Must have an Active Guard Card
- Must have a Permit for an Exposed Firearm
- Must be CPR and First Aid certified
- Proactive and energetic attitude
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent and skilled in spoken and written English. Proficiency in Hebrew a plus
**Full-time employees working 20 plus hours per week shall be eligible for insurance benefits (medical, dental, vision, & life) following the new hire waiting period.
