Since 2012 we have grown to become a leader in guard services with over 150 officers and a family‑oriented culture that prioritizes employee safety and morale, leading to high client satisfaction.Flex Security Officer (Multiple Bay Area Locations)Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hourJob SummaryHammer Head Security seeks dependable, professional, and highly adaptable Flex Security Officers to cover employee call‑offs, vacations, special assignments, and staffing shortages at client locations throughout Oakland, San Jose, Milpitas, Fremont, and surrounding Bay Area communities. Flex Officers are assigned to sites based on operational needs and may work in warehouses, logistics yards, residential communities, commercial properties, and corporate environments. Comprehensive site‑specific training is provided for all assignments. The ideal candidate is reliable, customer‑service oriented, flexible with scheduling, and comfortable adapting to different work environments and security responsibilities.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide security coverage at multiple client locations throughout the Bay Area.Cover open shifts due to employee absences, vacations, and operational staffing needs.Conduct foot patrols and vehicle patrols of assigned properties.Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems.Perform access control duties for employees, visitors, vendors, contractors, and delivery personnel.Operate security gates and monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic.Conduct inspections of buildings, parking areas, warehouses, and logistics yards.Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, policy violations, and security concerns.Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs), incident reports, and other required documentation.Maintain communication with Dispatch, supervisors, and site representatives.Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established site procedures.Provide professional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.QualificationsValid California Guard Card (Required)Valid California Driver's License (Required)Clean and insurable driving recordReliable transportation and ability to travel to various Bay Area locationsHigh School Diploma or GED preferredPrevious security, customer service, warehouse security, gate officer, patrol, or CCTV monitoring experience preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsBasic computer and smartphone proficiencyAbility to work independently and exercise sound judgmentProfessional appearance and demeanorPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to conduct foot patrols and vehicle patrols throughout the shift.Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.Ability to climb stairs and navigate large properties when required.Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.Ability to remain alert and focused throughout the shift.ScheduleFlex Position (Guaranteed 40 hours for full time)Various shifts available, including Days, Swings, Graveyards, Weekends, and HolidaysSchedule and work locations vary based on operational needs, call‑offs, vacations, and special assignmentsFull-time and Part-time opportunities available24/7 operational environmentBenefitsCompetitive PayHealth Benefits (for eligible employees)Paid TrainingOpportunities for AdvancementStable Work EnvironmentOngoing Professional DevelopmentLicense/CertificationCalifornia Guard Card (Required)California Driver's License (Required)Equal Opportunity EmployerHammer Head Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
