Position Overview Transdev is actively seeking a transportation dispatcher for its Paratransit service in the Concord locations. The dispatcher will provide excellent customer service to passengers and drivers and oversee daily service operations.Pay & Benefits $22.83 - $28.19 per hour (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Pay Scale), progression over 5 years.Vacation: up to 14 days per year; Sick days: 5 days; Holidays: 8 days.Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability.Responsibilities Oversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, route timeliness, incidents, etc.Provide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips, including no shows, cancellations and missed trips.Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators, acting as liaison between the carrier and emergency services.Manage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service.Other duties as required.Qualifications High school diploma, GED or equivalent.Minimum 1 year of dispatch operations experience within the transportation industry.Excellent communication skills.Customer service-oriented mentality with attention to detail.Physical Requirements Work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.Most work indoors; office or cubicle with telephone and computer.Work involves long periods sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.EEO Statement Transdev is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
