As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of residential communities or commercial facilities.ResponsibilitiesConducting routine and regular foot patrols of the client location deterring suspicious activity and disturbancesWriting detailed reports based on observations, incidents, violations, and maintenance issuesEnforcing community or facilities rules and regulations per client requestSecuring site amenity areasConducting parking enforcement via parking violation notices and/or towing vehiclesPerforming GPS checksTake accurate and thorough notes of any unusual occurrencesReporting in detail any suspicious incidents to the appropriate authoritiesProtecting the company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment at all timesThis role requires high attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.Extensive training will be provided by a Security Supervisor.CompensationLocal candidates only. Pay Range: $18.50 per hour to $20 per hour.Basic RequirementsBe at least 18 years old (BPC Section 7582.8)Possess a High School diploma or GED equivalentMust possess or be willing to obtain a valid California Guard Card issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS)Undergo a criminal history background check through the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) (BPC Sections 7581 and 7583.9)Basic reading, writing, and communication skillsAbility to follow instructions and work independentlyMust be physically fit, able to stand or walk for extended periodsMust be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidaysStrong attention to detail and situational awareness. Good judgement and problem-solving skills. Professional demeanor and appearance. Reliable and punctualPosition RequirementsAvailable to work various schedules.
