In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, observe and report suspicious activities, and provide a reassuring presence for residents, visitors, and staff. As an unarmed officer, your focus will be on customer service, conflict de-escalation, and maintaining a safe environment through vigilance and proactive communication.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesConduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to monitor premises for safety and security concerns.Observe, document, and report any unusual activity, maintenance issues, or safety hazards.Provide assistance to residents, guests, and employees, including offering directions and responding to inquiries.Enforce community rules and policies professionally and respectfully.De-escalate conflicts and handle minor disturbances, contacting emergency services when necessary.Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.Maintain a detailed log of daily activities and incidents.Assist in emergency situations, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, and evacuations.Conduct security checks on doors, windows, and access points to ensure property integrity.RequirementsPrior experience in security, law enforcement, or customer service preferred.Strong observational and communication skills.Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.Knowledge of de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution strategies.Must be able to walk, stand, and drive for extended periodsBenefitsFull‑time employees (defined as working 30 or more hours per week) are eligible for medical, dental, vision and other ancillary benefits.All employees (full‑time and part‑time) are eligible to participate in the company's 401K which has an employer match.Equal Opportunity Employer StatementPlanned Companies is an equal opportunity employer.
