Qualifications
The minimum and preferred requirements are listed below. While the following requirements outline the minimum qualifications, Human Resources reserves the right to select applicants for further consideration who demonstrate the best qualifications match for the job. Education and Experience:
- MINIMUM: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with major coursework in business or public administration, economics, statistics, finance or related field related and one (1) year of progressively responsible experience performing administrative analysis or departmental administrative and/or project support. Relevant analytical experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
- PREFERRED:In addition to the minimum, two (2) years of experience equivalent to the County’s class of Administrative Technician.
- The ability to obtain a valid California Class C driver's license within ten (10) days of employment; maintain throughout employment.
Special Requirements:
- Must successfully complete an extensive and thorough background investigation which may include Live Scan fingerprinting and/or credit check prior to hire.
- Will be required to perform disaster service activities pursuant to Government Code 3100-3109.
