Security Officer- Overnight Shift

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to safeguard our premises, assets, and personnel. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through vigilant surveillance, prompt response to incidents, and effective conflict management. Your dedication will ensure the safety of everyone on-site while upholding the highest standards of security protocol. Responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or breaches in security.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential hazards or unauthorized access.
• Control access points by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or conflicts, utilizing conflict management skills.
• Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism and reporting findings appropriately.
• Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, ensuring immediate response to medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents requiring external assistance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified.
• Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and other security technology.
• Excellent conflict management abilities with a calm and assertive demeanor.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts.
