  • Security Officer, Full-Time (8-hour Shift)

Provides security and safety for patients, staff, and visitors. Protects hospital and corporate assets, buildings and property. Under direct supervision of Public Safety supervisor or other designated Lead officer to perform routine inspections of campus property to assure compliance with the company's safety and security regulations.

Requirements:

  1. HS Diploma or equivalent
  2. 1-2 years' experience in a hospital setting or Law Enforcement/ Security background
  3. Ability to use a computer, complete incident report forms and basic communications in reporting
  4. Working knowledge of Orange County Radio Codes, Orange County Phonetic alphabet, California Penal Codes. In addition, universal Medical Emergency Codes.
  5. Possess a State Of California Guard Card
  6. Willingness to work nights, weekends, and occasional holidays as scheduled
  7. Able to perform duties and responsibilities of this job, including running, climbing stairs, frequent standing and or sitting for long periods of time, exposure to inclement weather conditions for prolonged periods of time, and combative persons
  8. Must successfully complete back round/ physical examinations
  9. No criminal record other than minor motor vehicle violations
  10. Able to obtain B.L.S. Certification within (90) days if hire
  11. Able to obtain MAB certification within (90) days of hire
