Allied Universal - - Responsibilities: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location; Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed; Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions; Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, verify authorized entry when required, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and/or daily activities according to site procedures; Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, de-escalating tense situations when appropriate, and helping staff and visitors with routine security-related questions and/or concerns
