    Position Description
    Performs advanced, specialized work to assist in the organization and implementation of various projects. Supports by maintaining, repairing or refurbishing commonly used medical equipment; creatively designing or adapting equipment to meet specific needs. Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records. Perform preventive maintenance functions. Works on special projects as assigned. Work is performed under minimal supervision within established policies with latitude for independent judgment.


    Major/Essential Functions
    • Travel - including overnight lodging- throughout the West Texas sector to complete service repair or preventive maintenance as needed or scheduled.
    • Completion of regional repairs within allotted time frame.
    • Completion of preventive maintenance for regional medical equipment based on Preventative Maintenance schedule region wide.
    • Completion of moving designated equipment or items as needed.
    • Designated projects will be assigned and completed as scheduled.
    • All other duties requested will be completed as assigned.


    Required Qualifications
    • High school diploma or the equivalent.
    • Six years of experience in related field.
    • Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
