    Position Description
    Designs, implements and manages an assigned program. Typical duties can include but are not limited to: Identify funding opportunities, conduct program assessments, prepare program reports, oversee and manage program marketing and communications, manage program databases, supervise program staff, plan research activities, coordinate program events, participate in strategic planning, manage program files, establish program standards and objectives, direct logistical activities to promote the success of programs, develop and implement project timelines and ensures deadlines are met, oversee program budget, ensure goals and objectives of grants are met, assists in proposal writing, comply and analyze program statistics.

    Major/Essential Functions
    • Conducts program assessments.
    • Prepares program reports.
    • Oversees and manages program marketing and communications with the guidance of the Sr. Program Director. Creates and manages program databases.
    • Travels extensively across the state of Texas, including after-hours, evenings and weekends as necessary to meet program goals and metrics.
    • Will make contact with internal and external stakeholders including clinicians, physicians and administrative staff.
    • Manages the CPAN-PeriPAN program under the direction of the Sr. Program Director.
    • Manages reporting and data collection to support the metrics, goals, and statewide requirements for the CPAN-PeriPAN program. Establishes program objectives and goals.
    • Manages the marketing components of CPAN-PeriPAN Collaborate with Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium (TCMHCC), departmental, and institutional marketing teams for promotional information, items and social media promotion.
    • Supervises subordinate staff as assigned by Sr. Program Director.
    • Manage, plan and facilitate presentations, outreach opportunities, webinars and special events.
    • Manages the logistical activities to promote the success of the program.
    • Engages with program stakeholders in a variety of settings such as higher education institutions, medical clinics and other professional organizations through face-to-face, virtual, email, phone or mail contact.
    • Communicate information clearly and use appropriate decision-making and problem solving
    • Explain complex information including the purpose of programs, services offered, enrollment, and program access to diverse audiences.
    • Provide smooth day-to-day flow of communications within the programs and with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Thorough, timely, and complete documentation of all outreach and engagement activities in multiple platforms and databases.
    • Maintain and update professional knowledge and proficiency through continuing education, staff meetings, workshops and by serving on special committees.


    Required Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree and four years of experience developing or managing programs or projects. Additional job related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
