The Job Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is recruiting for a
Revenue Cycle Supervisor to supervise staff providing general support for the
Patient Accounts department. The
Revenue Cycle Supervisor willoversee revenue cycle staff in the areas of collections, revenue recovery, refunds, and correspondence follow-up, ensuring efficient revenue cycle operations, accurate financial processes, and high-quality service to patients . In addition to directing staff, the incumbent will perform administrative duties such as coordinating workflows, monitoring performance, supporting staff training and working with operational, financial and revenue cycle leaders to ensure timely payment and resolution of patient accounts.
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:- Supervise and direct the work of staff; assign, review, and evaluate work; prepare and/or sign performance evaluations; participate in hiring decisions; and initiate or recommend disciplinary actions as appropriate.
- Participate in the preparation, administration, and monitoring of annual budgets; develop budget justifications; monitor budget performance; and recommend corrective actions for budget variances.
- Prepare policy, contracts and Board agenda items, develop, review, and recommend policies and procedures as requested by the department manager.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee departmental training and staff development, ensuring compliance with County and State regulations.
- Participate in workgroups and meetings; conduct administrative and operational analyses; and collect, analyze, and present data to support management decision-making.
- Prepare and maintain administrative reports, records, correspondence, and related documentation in support of departmental operations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Two (2) years of full-time experience within a hospital’s revenue cycle unit with primary responsibility for analyzing, interpreting and making recommendations to management in one or more of the following areas: patient access, utilization review, health information management; hospital revenue cycle analysis; hospital billing practices and methods; CMS, DHCS and EMTALA regulations; insurance billing and collections; budget/financial management, patient accounts/billing; clinical charge capture; operations, policies and procedures.

AND-
One (1) year of lead or supervising work experience over a support services staff within a hospital revenue cycle department.
REQUIRED EDUCATION Option 1 A completed Bachelor's degree in Public/Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Behavioral/Social Science, or other relevant field of study.
Option 2 A completed Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a qualifying field of study as stated above
-AND- Two (2) years of experience supporting management or professional level administrative services staff in any of the following areas: revenue cycle, budgeting, fiscal/budget analysis, data analysis, statistical analysis, accounting, economics or other closely related duties.
Substitution Four (4) years of additional experience supporting management or professional level administrative services staff in any of the following areas within a hospital revenue/finance environment: revenue cycle, budgeting, fiscal/budget analysis, data analysis, statistical analysis, accounting, economics or other closely related duties may substitute the required education .
Important Notes Regarding Qualifying Education and Experience: Qualifying degrees or coursework must be completed at a college or university accredited by any accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education. Degrees or coursework completed outside the U.S. must be accompanied with an evaluation report from a reputable credential evaluation service showing equivalency to degrees or coursework completed at a college or university accredited by any accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education.
General office/clerical, retail sales, eligibility worker, employment services, child support services and other similar experience is not considered qualifying.
Desired QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have experience with the EPIC electronic healthcare record system and hold a CRCR, CHFP, or similar certification. They will bring at least three (3) years of lead experience overseeing professional staff within front-end and/or back-end revenue cycle functions, along with the ability to perform complex analysis and make informed recommendations. A strong commitment to integrity, compliance, and adaptability to regulatory and operational changes is essential.
