    JOB SUMMARY

    The Town of Prosper is currently seeking qualified and dedicated individual for the position of:

    Director of Parks and Recreation



    Hiring Range: $130,000 - $160,000

    Retirement Benefits (TMRS), 2-to-1 Match Medical, Dental, and Vision

    Qualifications:

    Director of Parks and Recreation Brochure

    • Bachelor's degree in Parks and Recreation Administration, public administration, or related field.
    • Five (5) or more years of experience in Parks and Recreation.
    • Three (3) or more years of supervisory experience required.
    • Must possess a valid Texas Class C driver’s license.
    • Must pass MVR check.
    • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
    Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.

    As the head of the department, the Director of Parks and Recreations oversees, directs, and manages the operations and activities of the department. Develops policy, oversees program planning, and provides management of the Town's Parks and Recreation facilities, programs and services.
