    The Job

    *** This recruitment is only open to current County of San Bernardino Sheriff's Department Lieutenants. ***



    The Sheriff's Department is accepting applications for Sheriff's Captains who manage a station, custodial facility or other major division. This recruitment will result in a new list of eligible candidates to replace the existing list of candidates.

    Minimum Requirements

    Experience: Applicants must be currently employed in a regular full-time position with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department as a Sheriff's Lieutenant, and have at least one (1) year of experience in said position, as of the filing deadline.

    NOTE: On your application, clearly differentiate between Lieutenant experience and prior experience.
