    Accounts Assistant

    St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center - North Campus 5351 Delmar Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63112

    Semi-Monthly Salary: $1,467.39 * Starting Salary: $35,217.31 Scheduled Hours: 0730-1600 (Saturday/Sunday off)

    St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center - North is looking for a positive and energetic Accounts Assistant.

    Responsibilities:

    Inputs services for Hawthorn Children Psychiatric Hospital, Forensic Treatment Center North and South Campuses into CIMOR for billing purposes. Produces monthly reconciliations of Hawthorn bed days. Works MC+ insurance and Inpatient Claims in Claimbuilder and EMOMED for Hawthorn. Bills Medicaid for Hawthorn patients. Works Medicare Part A claims in ICM system for FTC-North inpatients. Goes into DDE weekly to check and fix Medicare Part A claims. Prepares monthly lab reports from LabCorp Pathology for entry into CIMOR for billing purposes. Process medical bills through the Healthlink Access Database and send letters to the facilities as needed. Maintains billing worksheets for Cost Report. Gathers and sorts incoming accounts receivable mail. This person will fill in as needed to cover for absences and when additional workload is present.

    Eligibility:

    1-3 years of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed). Knowledge of basic accounting principles.

    Ability to identify and resolve vendor issues. Great organizational skills and attention to detail.
