Office of the Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk is seeking a
Supervising District Appraiser who supervises and directs an appraisal staff engaged in the valuation of real property and specialty use properties for tax assessment purposes in assigned geographical locations, special properties, and/or appeals. Duties include supervising and assigning work to staff; performing residential, commercial, and industrial appraisals for tax assessment purposes; representing the Assessor at Assessment Appeals Board hearings; advising staff on current legislative and procedural changes; and providing technical assistance and expertise on all types of appraisals.

Minimum Requirements CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: CERTIFICATE Must possess a Permanent or Advanced Appraiser's Certificate issued by the
California State Board of Equalization.
EXPERIENCE Must possess two (2) years of experience as a licensed journey level Appraiser in a California County Assessor's Office
that includes 18 months appraising commercial/industrial properties. Experience must be equivalent to an
Appraiser III with San Bernardino County.

- A Bachelor's degree.
- Successful completion of San Bernardino County Management & Leadership Academy (MLA).
