    Starting Salary: $18.05 - $23.01

    Job Description:

    STORMWATER DIVISION - VACTOR TRUCK: Performs semi-skilled work in maintenance of Stormwater curb inlets and baskets in the Streets/Stormwater Division. Performs lead and skilled work in the operation of storm inlets and storm baskets; may oversee unskilled employees. Assists on vactor truck, cleans storm lines and storm systems; and also assists on TV inspection truck. Is required to work in adverse weather conditions.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    STORMWATER DIVISION - VACTOR TRUCK:
    High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and two (2) years of experience in public works construction, maintenance, operation of mid-size/heavy construction equipment and repair activities, preferably in the maintenance and repair of Stormwater lines and manholes, operation, and maintenance of pumping stations; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Florida Commercial CDL Class A or B Permit required within 90 days of hire.

    If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
    • Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
    • Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
    • Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
    • Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
