OverviewThe Larimer County Assessor's Office is seeking an Applications Support Specialist to join our established team. We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional eager to learn and grow. In this role, you’ll receive training from senior specialists and gain hands-on experience with multiple data functions and processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and excellent service. You’ll primarily support vendor-provided applications, with a focus on RealWare.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM. A hybrid work option is available after training.
ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll be doing:
- Supporting departmental business applications by troubleshooting issues and assisting users.
- Gathering and documenting requirements to improve or implement applications.
- Configuring, testing, and implementing new applications, modules, and functionality.
- Managing system access, security profiles, and user roles.
- Monitoring performance to ensure accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.
- Resolving and tracking issues, coordinating with IT or vendors when needed.
- Identifying root causes of incidents and developing corrective actions or workarounds.
- Contributing to the design and ongoing improvement of applications and workflows.

- Knowledge of troubleshooting tools and techniques for business applications.
- Experience with application analysis and issue resolution.

- Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with coworkers, users, supervisors, and vendors.
- Technical aptitude to understand and support assigned applications in depth.

- Four (4) years related applications support or systems support experience required.
