HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:
This instrumental position in the Human Resources and Total Rewards office will provide quality customer service to the employees of the Department of Revenue. You’ll love the strong, supportive work environment and have the opportunity to learn and grow in this position.

This description may not include all of the duties, knowledge, skills, or abilities associated with this title.- Provide polite, accurate, and professional assistance on the phone with citizens and Revenue employees
- Answer and direct incoming calls on the main HR phone line
- Greet Citizens and Revenue employees at the front window of HR
- Pick-up and distribute employee checks and badges
- Prepare and mail, email, fax office correspondence
- Running provide additional support as needed
- Process payroll using the state’s SAM II payroll system and process benefits
- Monitor, correct, and verify timekeeping entries
- Process employment verifications.
- Assist employees with questions

QUALIFICATIONS:- Possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency
- 2 -4 years of relevant experience, above general clerical work.
- Payroll experience in the SAM II HR system preferred.
- Microsoft Excel experience is beneficial.
- High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
