You will be doing your part to protect public health as a team member in the Public Drinking Water Branch’s Compliance and Enforcement Section, which provides assistance and oversight for public drinking water systems in Missouri. This position is located in the
Lewis and Clark State Office Building at 1101 Riverside Drive, Jefferson City, Missouri, 65101.
- Review and process Compliance & Enforcement Section documents and correspondence. This includes creating, editing, printing, tracking, distributing, scanning, filing, archiving, uploading, and mailing of letters, reports, orders, and other internal documents for the Section.
- Use Microsoft 365 applications to track and review correspondence.
- Utilize and apply the department’s style guide to Section templates and documents.
- Provide coordination and support for the Section including scheduling meetings, making reservations, procurement, and team building.
- Answer and manage Section phone calls on two lines and provide assistance to citizens, water systems and their customers.
- Organize, upload, and retrieve documents from the Electronic Content Management system.
- Assist other Public Drinking Water Branch Sections as needed.
- Cover the Water Protection Program phone and distribute mail as needed.
- Cover the Lewis and Clark State Office Building reception desk as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Equivalent to those typically gained by: - Possession of a high school diploma or high school equivalency.
- 1-3 years in administrative office work or other relevant experience.
- Sets well-defined and realistic personal goals; displays a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner; works with minimal supervision; is motivated to achieve; demonstrates responsible behavior.
