Job Location: This position will be located at 912 Wildwood Jefferson City, MO 65109. This position is not eligible for remote work.

The Department of Health and Senior Services is looking for an energetic and dedicated individual to join our Human Resources team. This is a first-level professional human resources position responsible for supporting the agency in recruitment and retention efforts under limited supervision.
The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.- Analyze, plan, develop the Department's recruitment and retention efforts
- Attend career fairs and hiring events
- Provide assistance to hiring managers and supervisors on the hiring process
- Post positions utilizing the HireTrue (Mo Careers) platform
- Assist with onboarding new employees
- Manage the Department's Internship Program
- Provide support to team members in various HR related topics
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and strong organizations skills.
- Critical thinking and decision making skills.
