POSITION OVERVIEWIn a senior leadership role within the Human Resources Department, you will partner closely with the HR Director to lead critical projects and daily operations that support over 300 employees and the evolving needs of our community. This position is instrumental in implementing high-priority initiatives such as:
- Designing and delivering comprehensive training modules for employees and supervisors.
- Launching Predictive Index (PI) tools town-wide to enhance communication, leadership, and role alignment
- Reimagining our performance goal setting and check-in process to foster growth and accountability
- Evaluating and advancing benefit strategies to improve sustainability and comprehensive benefits for our employees
- Streamlining HR processes and technology to drive organizational efficiency

HERE Typical QualificationMINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration or related field.
- At least six (6) years of progressively responsible HR experience
- At least two (2) years' experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity
The Town may consider any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to the above Minimum Requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Master's degree in a related field
- HR professional certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR)
- Experience in a public sector environment
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:- Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Arizona driver's license.
- May be required to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, depending on organizational needs

Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. The position is not eligible for overtime compensation.
