The Role at a Glance
Join a high-impact team supporting workforce development and transportation safety across Texas. Under the direction of the Transportation & Heavy Equipment Training Manager, the Training Coordinator plays a key role in scheduling, organizing, and delivering training across the CDL, transportation/highway safety, and heavy equipment programs. This position is responsible for coordinating instructors, managing client relationships, monitoring course quality, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Qualifications of the Role- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two years of related experience in project coordination and management to include one year of supervisory experience.
- Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
- Must maintain Texas Department of Public Safety and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requirements for Designated Responsible Person.
Equivalency: Will consider an associate’s degree with four years of related experience in project coordination and management to include one year of supervisory experience or a High School Diploma or GED with six years of related experience in project coordination and management to include one year of supervisory experience.

Hosting services for online courses, technical assistance and technology validation, and bilingual training and translation services also are available.
