    Under the direct supervision of the Senior Accountant, the Administrative Intern performs the following duties:
    • Provides clerical and office support, including customer service, data entry, filing, billing, and document processing.
    • Process customer invoices, collect and record payments
    • Handles financial transactions, including computing, collecting, and receiving payments. Performs basic calculations, maintains ledgers, accounts, spreadsheets, and databases, and assists with daily and month-end reconciliation.
    • Provides professional customer service while assisting co-workers, City employees, and the public in person, by phone, or online. Handles inquiries, resolves issues, relays messages, and directs inquiries as needed.
    • Assists with recordkeeping, maintains confidentiality, and collaborates across departments to ensure compliance with financial policies.
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
