    JOB SUMMARY

    The Town of Prosper is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated individual for the position of:

    Irrigation Specialist

    Hiring Range: $22.69 - $24.62 per hour

    Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
    • One (1) year of experience in irrigation repair, maintenance, and operations preferred.
    • Possession of TCEQ licenses; Landscape Irrigator, Irrigation Technician, or Irrigation Inspector preferred.
    • Must possess a valid Texas Class C driver’s license.
    • Must possess or obtain TCEQ Landscape Irrigator (LI) license within six (6) months of employment.
    • Must pass MVR check.
    • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

    Under the general supervision of the Environmental Coordinator, the Irrigation Specialist evaluates and inspects irrigation systems for Prosper Water Customers and performs a variety of tasks in support of the residential irrigation function and water usage; implements water conservation programs.
