    Requirements

    MOS Code: A25A (Navy), 3D011 (Air Force), 75D (Army), 0411 (Marine Corps)

    Education and Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) , or higher and two (2) years of office support experience and scanning experience.

    General Purpose

    Under general supervision, provide customers with document reproduction and scanning services and perform a limited variety of routine general office functions.

    Typical Duties

    Operate and maintain document reproduction equipment and high-tech/volume copiers and scanners. Involves: Operation of photocopy machine and scanning equipment. Make copies, sort, collate and staple documents. Make size and density adjustments as needed on copies and scanned documents. Review scanned documents for quality control, readability, and legibility.

    Scan engineering documents such as but not limited to subdivision plats, subdivision construction drawings, and City owned infrastructure and facility improvements. Archive scanned documents such as but not limited to subdivision plats, subdivision construction drawings, and City owned infrastructure and facility improvements on record retention software. Catalog and create library of scanned documents. Type project information related to type, scope, retention period, project number, creation date. Associate project information to scanned documents.

    Read, review, and prioritize work orders, provide customers with estimates, prepare and process work orders. Involves: Document reproduction scheduling and identification of completion date, and cost analysis. Enter final accounting data into computer system, process invoices for payment, maintain filing system and keep records and reports, data entry of invoices and updating of filing system daily. Order, receive and inspect supplies. Maintain records and prepare reports.

    Perform specified clerical and other support tasks. Involves: Review and enter data, update logs and databases. Maintain existing alphabetical, numerical or chronological files. Prepare and edit simple documents and prepare correspondence for review and approval. Sort and file documents. Proofread documents as directed.

    Greet and assist City employees, officials and the public as required. Involves: Respond to visitors in a courteous manner, answer phone, and take messages, forward inquiries to the appropriate party exercising proper telephone etiquette.
