What you’ll do: - Work with a dynamic team of established developers to create and maintain the information systems vital to the Department of Transportation.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain both new and existing applications using primarily .Net, C#, Bootstrap, Jquery and JavaScript
- Assists in coordination and planning with department personnel, management team, committees, and other agencies to recommend solutions for current or future application needs and systems compatibility issues.
- Prepares application documentation, including user manuals, operations procedures, and technical and testing documentation.
- Research emerging technologies, implement best practices, and explore industry trends
All you need for success: Minimum Qualifications - 60 hours toward a related Bachelor’s Degree, or
- Associate's Degree: Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field, or
- High School Diploma or GED/HiSET, and two years of experience in computer systems, repairs, and operations.
Special Working Conditions: - Job requires occasional, statewide, overnight travel.
Preferred Qualifications - Working knowledge of version control systems, MS Office 365 tools, .Net/Java, C#, Bootstrap, Jquery and JavaScript preferred
