    Psychiatric Nurse - I

    $37.53 - $46.88/hour; $6,505.20 - $8,125.87/month; $78,062.40 - $97,510.40/year

    Psychiatric Nurse - II

    $41.38 - $51.69/hour; $7,172.53 - $8,959.60/month; $86,070.40 - $107,515.20/year

     

    The department of Health and Human Services, Adult System of Care division is currently accepting applications for Psychiatric Nurse I/II to fill one full-time vacancy that will report to offices in Auburn and Roseville. This position may be filled at either level and will provide mental health and medical outpatient services to an adult population.

    Minium Qualifications

    Experience

    • Psychiatric Nurse - I: No professional experience is required.
    • Psychiatric Nurse - II: Two (2) years of responsible professional psychiatric nursing experience performing duties similar to a Psychiatric Nurse I with Placer County.

    Training: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

    Required License or Certificate:

    • Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
    • May need to possess a valid driver's license as required by the position.  Proof of adequate vehicle insurance and medical clearance may also be required.

     

    NOTE: Applicants receiving their degree outside the United States must submit proof of accreditation by a recognized evaluation agency.
