The ideal candidate must be self-driven, motivated, and able to work independently, as well as within a larger team.

The Digital Communications Specialist also will understand and comply with Cal Poly’s and the CSU’s web policies, accessibility and other standards on behalf of the college. This position works collaboratively with digital content specialists in other colleges and divisions across campus, and partners with ITS web staff to administer web content policy. Working in partnership with UCM, the Digital Communications Specialist supports the university’s goal of telling the story of what sets it apart, including its Learn by Doing philosophy; the achievements of its accomplished students, faculty, staff and alumni; and its location on California’s Central Coast that allows its people to make impacts locally, throughout California and around the world.

This is a full-time one-year temporary position with the possibility of extension and is eligible for full benefits, including medical, dental, vision and CalPERS retirement.
