Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Coordinate, schedule, and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards Client Details Family owned and operated NY GC. Description Responsibilities: Project Management & Oversight: Lead daily site operations for commercial interiors projects, managing all phases from mobilization to closeout. Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Coordinate, schedule, and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols, conduct regular site inspections, and maintain a safe and organized job site in compliance with OSHA and NYC building codes. Quality Control: Ensure all work meets project specifications, plans, and company quality standards. Schedule & Budget Management: Monitor project progress, track budgets, and identify/address potential delays or overruns. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed daily logs, progress reports, and necessary documentation (e.g., RFI's, submittals). Client Communication & Relationships: Serve as the primary on-site contact, providing regular updates to clients and addressing concerns promptly and professionally. Problem-Solving: Proactively identify challenges and implement effective solutions to maintain project momentum and ensure successful project execution. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to on-site staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Profile Carpentry background. Experience with various industry sectors (corporate, retail, education, etc.). Client-facing communication skills and confidence managing jobsite relationships. Familiarity with NYC building codes, permits, and inspection processes. Job Offer Competitive salary range: $120,000 - $170,000] Bonus opportunities.
