Summary
Dispatcher PositionTolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. (TWE) is seeking applicants for a Dispatcher. As a Dispatcher, you are responsible for the scheduling of field personnel, and act as a communication conduit between the Project Manager(s), Client(s), and the Technician(s). You must be knowledgeable of each project, the location of each project, the Project Manager and Client's needs for each project, and the capabilities of each of the Technicians.ResponsibilitiesWork with the project managers to assure the appropriate personnel are available and assigned to the scheduled projects. The dispatcher must maintain a list of available personnel and be familiar with their abilities and certifications where applicable.Schedule field activities per the client or designated contact for all projects. All technicians should be informed verbally by the end of each working day of the following working day's assignments.Dispatch all of the paperwork required for the following work day's assignments and place it in the appropriate personnel's box by the end of the work day.Schedule all field personnel for the required safety training, drug testing, and certifications. It is also the dispatcher's responsibility to work with the project managers in order to assure that each technician has the appropriate approvals to enter the various facilities where we have projects.Responsible for assuring that all paperwork has been turned in from the previous workday by 8am the next day. If the reports or documents are not turned in at that time, they will request the documents and reprimand the individuals when appropriate.Assist the field personnel when needed with technical problems or other performance issues.Assistance with the provision of a safe work environment for all TWE employeesAssist the office administrator as necessary and type test and inspection reports.
