This organization plays a vital role in ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction, contributing significantly to the community it serves.
Are you a highly organized and communicative individual ready to be the central hub of critical field operations? We are looking for a dedicated professional to play a pivotal role in orchestrating the daily activities of field personnel. In this essential position, you will directly impact the efficiency of service delivery, ensuring that vital work orders are managed swiftly and effectively, ultimately keeping essential services running smoothly for countless customers.
What You'll Do:
- Monitor, dispatch, and balance work orders for field personnel.
- Act as a primary point of contact, responding to information requests and facilitating communication between customer service and field teams.
- Handle incoming calls and perform call-ahead requests for field technicians.
- Receive and dispatch non-emergency work orders to support daily and emergency operations.
- Utilize mobile data and dispatching systems to efficiently assign orders.
- Track, route, and document work orders, and review backlogged tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate operational requirements between internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts between customer support, customers, and supervision to optimize service delivery.
- Serve as a crucial liaison between the organization, customers, and governmental agencies during emergency situations.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience:
- One year of experience with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system or a mobile data dispatching system.
- At least one year of experience in or supporting utility field operations, or one year of equivalent dispatching experience.

This role involves a consistent schedule of three 10-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift per week, including a rotating weekend shift. Specific shift assignments will be discussed during the interview process. Flexibility is key to success in this position.
