To support U.S. Army IT managed services, the full-time Cloud Engineer with Security+ Certification will design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on FedRAMP-authorized platforms while ensuring secure operations in a hybrid IT landscape, with remote work eligibility and local on-site options for candidates in the Roanoke and Radford, Virginia area.Key responsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure supporting Army workloads on platforms like AWS GovCloud and Microsoft Azure GovernmentLead cloud migration efforts, including workload assessments and cloud-native refactoringDevelop and enforce cloud governance policies and maintain high availability and disaster recovery plansRequired qualifications5-8 years of hands-on cloud engineering experience with cloud migration or enterprise IT modernizationCompTIA Security+ CE certification requiredActive cloud certification such as AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or Google Professional Cloud ArchitectActive DoD Secret Clearance required at the time of hireBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field required
