Job Summary
The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is seeking professional, dedicated applicants for part-time Crossing Guard positions. Crossing Guards are located at public schools throughout Loudoun County and the Town of Leesburg and are tasked with the control of traffic and ensuring safety of children arriving and leaving schools daily. For additional information regarding the required work hours and school locations, please visit our website. Hiring range is commensurate with experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; must be at least age 18; six (6) months of related work experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must pass annual physical exams.
Job Contingencies and Special Requirements
Selection process includes review of the Applicant Supplemental Questionnaire and County application; a background investigation to include fingerprinting, criminal record, driving record, physical examination, and an in-person interview.
