Security Officer Access Control
Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support orderly site access for employees, visitors, and deliveries. This role combines visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $10.45 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTime Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following site-specific procedures, screening access at entry points, verifying credentials, and supporting security-related protocols and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor and control access to the location, helping to limit unauthorized entry, documenting visitor and vehicle activity, and communicating clearly with employees, contractors, and delivery personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or public responders as needed and completing required reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing conditions in production, parking, and shipping and receiving areas, and reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
