Job Title
Essential Functions:
- Develop delivery routes and maintain contact with drivers throughout the day
- Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers
- Act as a communication liaison through the two-way dispatching system and answer incoming phone calls from drivers on the road
- Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes
- Monitor any sudden route changes or road construction issues and work with drivers to establish new routes for timely deliveries
- Ensure continuous implementation and enforcement of Tire Discounters' policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain a team effort consistent with the goals of the company
- Assist and perform other duties of absent employees as necessary.
- Be a strong mentor and lead by example.
- Protect company assets, cash, inventory, equipment, systems and documents
- Adhere to state, local and federal laws
- Maintain a drug-free workplace
- Adhere to policies for work orders and invoices
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Previous dispatcher work experience preferred
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional evenings and Saturdays
- Minimum 2 years of previous customer service and/or sales experience
- Strong telephone, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks at one time
KPIs:
- Service Valet Outpost car count growth through effective routing
- Service Valet Outpost customer service ratings through effective routing
- Car count of Service Valet Center and supported retail stores through effective routing
Education and Work Experience:
- High school diploma or higher
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years
- Valid In state motor vehicle license
- Ability to work Saturdays
Physical Demands:
- Sitting for long periods of time
- Minimal walking, or standing, throughout the day
- Talking, typing, and texting continually throughout the day
