Job Description:

We are searching for a Dispatcher in our Special Transit Services office to provide excellent service to our drivers and customers while answering multiple telephone lines. The individual in this key position will:
  • Communicate by using phones and tablets with drivers and customers regarding trip schedules and clients. Refer messages and calls in a timely manner to the proper personnel.
  • Collaborate with other dispatchers regarding fleet operation.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch reports as directed by STS management.
  • Operate dispatch software to communicate with the garage, management staff, local community and schools.
  • Oversee driver production records, schedules and logs, assuring that all fleet records are turned in. Summarize and report information as required by STS management.
  • Assist in the coordination of routine vehicle maintenance.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to assist in the operation of a special needs transportation system
  • Well organized with good telephone communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Administrative and computer operation skills, including the ability to multi-task
  • Bilingual skills a plus
Hours: Full-time, 30 hours/week. Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Compensation: $18.50 hourly
