ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Develop delivery routes and maintain contact with drivers throughout the day
  • Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers
  • Act as a communication liaison through the two-way dispatching system and answer incoming phone calls from drivers on the road
  • Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes
  • Monitor any sudden route changes or road construction issues and work with drivers to establish new routes for timely deliveries
  • Ensure continuous implementation and enforcement of Tire Discounters' policies and procedures.
  • Build and maintain a team effort consistent with the goals of the company
  • Assist and perform other duties of absent employees as necessary.
  • Be a strong mentor and lead by example.
  • Protect company assets, cash, inventory, equipment, systems and documents
  • Adhere to state, local and federal laws
  • Maintain a drug-free workplace
  • Adhere to policies for work orders and invoices
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Previous dispatcher work experience preferred
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional evenings and Saturdays
  • Minimum 2 years of previous customer service and/or sales experience
  • Strong telephone, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks at one time
KPIs:
  • Service Valet Outpost car count growth through effective routing
  • Service Valet Outpost customer service ratings through effective routing
  • Car count of Service Valet Center and supported retail stores through effective routing
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or higher
  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years
  • Valid In state motor vehicle license
  • Ability to work Saturdays
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Sitting for long periods of time
  • Minimal walking, or standing, throughout the day
  • Talking, typing, and texting continually throughout the day
