Summary
Security Position
Central Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is committed to keeping their residents, resident's families and employees safe.
Security position performs all functions as it relates to security/receptionist duties. Patrol the facility and property. Serves as a visible deterrent to crime and policy violations. Detect suspicious activities, watches for infractions and criminal acts.
Position reports directly to Director of Security.
Security License Required for employment
Duties include but not limited to:
- Greet and screen all individuals that enter the building per DOH regulations.
- Answer and screen all incoming calls and transfer to the appropriate extensions.
- Act as a resource. Give directions and information to visitors as needed or contact an employee to assist them.
- Receive report from security/supervisor on previous shift.
- Log out residents when leaving the facility. Ensure that residents are accompanied by an employee, transportation driver, or a family member when leaving the facility.
- Review the logbook for activities and important pass down information.
- Notify RN managers/supervisors of lab and x-ray result faxes.
- Prepare chart tags, door tags, and name bracelets when needed.
- Ensuring doors and gates are secure at the appropriate times.
- Escort persons off the property
- Other duties as per the job description.
Shifts: Weekends 6-2, Per Diem
