As a full-time SOC Analyst working remotely, the candidate will be responsible for protecting the organization's on-premises and cloud environments through security monitoring, incident response, threat hunting, and vulnerability analysis.Key responsibilitiesMonitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts from various security platformsPerform incident response and threat hunting activities, including alert triage and root cause analysisAdvise on vulnerability management and provide guidance on system hardening and secure configurationsRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5 years of security experience with proficiency in SOC duties, including threat detection and incident responseExperience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, and other security telemetry for investigating security eventsStrong understanding of incident response, threat hunting, and security investigation workflowsRelevant technical security certification required, with preferred certifications including CompTIA CySA+, GIAC GCIH, or equivalent
