SECURITY GUARD (POOL)
The Security Guard position is a pooled position, and applications will be reviewed on an as needed, on-going basis. As a Classified Part-Time Security Guard, you will be responsible for security functions. This is primarily an on-call position that may on occasion and under the circumstances include a set schedule. This position is expected to assist with shift coverage during national holidays, school closures, or to fill in for full time officer vacations or illnesses. Qualifications
High School diploma or GED. Preference for candidates with college course work or degrees. One year experience in a security, police, or military capacity or security experience and basic knowledge of contemporary security and property protection techniques and methodologies. Must possess valid Oregon driver's license, which is required to operate college vehicles and be covered under college insurance.
Required Training: Most possess or be able to obtain first aid, blood borne pathogen, AED, and heart-saving training within 90 days of employment. Must possess or be able to obtain DPSST unarmed security officer security certificate within 30 days of hire date.
