cFocus Software seeks a GIS Engineer to join our program supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). This position is on site in the Washington DC, MD, & VA area. This position requires a TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance.QualificationsActive TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearanceBachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or related field with 4-12+ years of GIS development experienceProficient in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and programming (Python, JavaScript)Experience with geospatial databases (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial)Knowledge of geospatial web services (WMS, WFS, WCS)Understanding of coordinate systems and map projectionsDutiesDevelops and maintains geospatial information systems and applications. Implements GIS data processing, analysis, and visualization capabilities.Integrates geospatial data from multiple sources and formats.Develops custom GIS tools and plugins.Optimizes geospatial data storage and retrieval.
