This position is scheduled for 12-hour tours.Essential Functions Guides, trains, supports, and monitors guards' performance at assigned posts.Directs access-control activities performed at or on their assigned posts.Organizes and sets priorities for guard staff assigned to special events on campus.Patrols assigned areas on and off campus, driving an assigned University vehicle to prevent crime and assist students, faculty, and staff.Tests and inspects all fire alarm systems.Directs traffic flow at University events as assigned by the tour Duty Supervisor.Serves as first responder in emergencies.Operates university vehicles in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and insurance requirements.Essential Functions Note: This list is not intended to be an exhaustive list.
