Job Title

Security Program Assistant

Job Description

You will be responsible for assisting the Security Current Operations Division Supervisor (SPB 52), with planning, initiating, monitoring, and evaluating a wide variety of complex strategic weapons-related security programs.

You will assist with inventory control, physical security of strategic weapons, critical structures, personnel, and access control devices per SECNAVINST S8126.1 and DOD M-S5210.41.

You will perform analysis of highly complex strategic weapons security management problems.

You will work independently to suggest both short and long-term solutions to problems, presenting results of analysis with recommendations in formal point papers to the Security Officer.

You will work directly with department/division heads and other management personnel assigned security and administrative programs, and with members of ad hoc committees to solve command-wide strategic weapons security related problems.

You will perform critical interface with assigned security forces, integrating strategic weapons security response concepts into long-range operational plans maintained by the operational commander.
