Job Overview A law firm seeks a Lead Trial Lawyer in Austin, Texas (Hybrid). This role offers the opportunity to handle a small docket of personal injury cases, providing high-level service and professional growth in a collaborative environment.Duties Handle personal injury cases from intake through verdict.Draft and respond to motions with a strong grasp of legal principles.Build strong client relationships and provide exceptional service.Develop persuasive legal strategies using TRCP and Rules of Evidence.Requirements Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience.At least 1 year of personal injury litigation experience preferred.Jury trial experience required.Licensed and in good standing with the Texas, Arizona, Colorado, or NewMexico State Bar.Strong experience in drafting and responding to motions.Demonstrated ability to work with clients.Knowledge of TRCP and Rules of Evidence.Ambition, passion, and a strong work ethic.Ability to receive feedback and criticism.Excellent organizational skills and a positive attitude.Experience taking and defending depositions.Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.Certifications Licensed to practice law in Texas, Arizona, Colorado, or NewMexico.Skills Strong legal research and writing skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with support staff.Benefits Competitive base pay with uncapped bonus potential.Remote work option one day a week.Ongoing training and mentoring opportunities.Opportunities for advancement within the firm.Contingency fee referral bonus opportunities.Paid time off (20 days) and 10 paid holidays.IRA plan with company contribution (up to 3% match).Medical, vision, and dental insurance (100% of medical covered by the firm).Paid parental leave.#J-18808-Ljbffr
