LINC is a diversion program for individuals with mental illness. It provides resources and support as an intervention in the lengthy competency evaluation process. SCU houses multiple prosecutorial teams, including the Mental Health Court team, the Veterans Treatment Court team, the LINC (Legal Intervention and Network of Care) team, the LEAD (Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion) team, and the Infractions team.Job ResponsibilitiesReview daily morning mental health court in-custody arraignment (MHICA) cases for LINC program qualification and file those cases.Review daily mental health court (MHC) out-of-custody cases for diversion into the LINC program.Communicate with and make referrals to the LINC team.Weekly meetings with the LINC team.Monthly meetings with behavioral health partners.Cross-train with other SCU teams to provide back-up coverage.Other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsDemonstrated experience in criminal prosecution.The successful candidate will also have2 years of general prosecution experience.Experience with competency issues and mental health issues in criminal cases.Knowledge of the Criminal Division's organizational structure and culture.Commitment to diversity, racial equity, and inclusion principles.#J-18808-Ljbffr
